Morrison's have teamed up with Too Good To Go, to offer a box of clearance food, nationwide, for just £3.09
Morrisons are to become the first supermarket in the UK to offer boxes of unsold food to help fight food waste.
The supermarket group will sell food that has reached its ‘best before’ date through the food waste fighting app/service, Too Good to Go.
Customers can use the Too Good to Go app to purchase the boxes of unsold fruit and vegetables, bakery goods and deli items worth up to £10 for just £3.09.
The new service will be available in all Morrison's, 494 supermarkets, from November 26th.
To grab the deal, you need to download the app, and register. Then you are able to view all food businesses that are offering discounted food products in your area, including Morrison's. You can then select the Morrison's offer, pay via the app, and then go and grab your box of goodies!
These are already proving popular and sell out really quickly, I would keep your eye on the app from 6pm and fingers crossed you will be in luck and grab a bargain.
You can read more about the app on our website here and can locate your nearest Morrisons supermarket using the online store finder .
