The long awaited , Amazon’s Prime Day sale is nearly here, with the annual shopping event promising to be the biggest one yet!
Amazon are anticipating that there will be more than a million deals going live for the event, with discounts being applied to all categories on the website.
This years event is later than normal, as it's normally held in July, however due to the coronavirus epidemic, the event was delayed until the 13th and 14th October.
Amazon are helping small businesses, who use the Amazon site to sell their goods, by offering a £10 credit to customers, who purchase something from one of these businesses between September 28th, 2020 and October 12th 2020. The credit will be automatically applied to your account, after a qualifying purchase, and this can be redeemed from 12:00am on October 13, 2020, to 11:59pm on October 14, 2020. You can view the qualifying product ranges included in this offer HERE
All the main deals will be live from the 13th October, and you can expect to find thousands of deals on just about every category on the Amazon site, with the event is being pitched as a great way to make a start on your Christmas shopping! They do certainly have a good point, with Christmas being just a couple of months away, and all the pandemic restrictions making things that bit more difficult, to go out to the shops and find gifts, being able to shop from your armchair, with the benefit of lots of discounts, is certainly vey appealing indeed!
That said, I would certainly not suggest that you forget about shopping locally. If you can shop local, then please do that, help keep your high street ticking over, and the independent retailers open, these guys and gals have never needed your support more than they do, in 2020, but of course the draw of discounted goods from Amazon, is certainly pretty compelling, but please do try and support local businesses too.
So how can I buy these great deals? You need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber, in order to take advantage of the discounted goods.
