Fancy Being A Pizza Tester For £6,000?

Updated: Nov 12, 2019

To celebrate National Vegan Day, this November, plus their launch of the new Vegan range, pizza chain Papa John’s is hiring a Chief Vegan Officer.

The part-time gig is suited to a vegan who ‘has all the cauli-power’ and tasting prowess to help the company devise their new vegan menu for 2020. ‘We’re looking for someone who’s extremely passionate about food with a firm knowledge of veganism. If you think you’ve got what it takes, we’d love to hear from you,’ said Papa John’s Marketing Director, Giles Codd.

The new staff member will be expected to work up-to 10 hours a month between January and June 2020. The pay is £100-£125 per hour, so that’s around a £6,000 paycheck!

Suitable candidates should have a background in food technology, with a degree in food science. They should be able to communicate their ideas effectively, have been a vegan for the last 18 months and apparently also have a knack for removing ‘an avocado stone in under 60 seconds’! We aren't sure if that's actually true, but if so, you had best start practising, as you may need to show off your skill, in your interview!

The successful applicant will be helping to devise a menu that will appeal to both vegans and meat eaters.
