The new MiXR app can get a night out with friends or family started for free!
If you fancy a drink at your local pub, but are short on cash, the MiXR app might be well worth a download!
The app is a loyalty scheme for the Stonegate pub chain. This app awards you earn points every time you make a food or drink purchase in a participating venue. You need to link the app to a banking app, which might be a bank app or credit card app, which is done through the safe 'Open Banking' system, and then every time you scan and pay using the app, you'll be awarded 50 points per £1 spent, which is equivalent to 5p per £1 spent.
You can use points that you accumulate to redeem vouchers as follows:
5,000 points for a £5 Stonegate voucher
10,000 points for a £10 voucher
15,000 points for £15 voucher
20,000 points for a £20 voucher
The more you spend, the more points you get. The points aren't just available for drink purchases; they can also be earned on food, so if you're heading out to eat at one of the Stonegate pubs, you can quickly earn enough points for a free voucher.
When you sign up for the app, you will be awarded a free welcome drink voucher to get you started, which is a nice freebie! If you use our referral code of RFCFWQFP, you'll also get a free £5 voucher to use as well! (Only one Reward or Offer redemption is allowed per person per day)

The vouchers last for six months, so you don't need to use them immediately; plus, the vouchers can stack as well, so if you've got a £5 voucher already for being referred and then you refer, say, three other people, you'll have £20 of vouchers, which you can use on one bill! To be on the safe side, always check with the staff when you order, just in case, for some reason, they don't allow stacking, but in the terms and conditions, it does state you can redeem up to £20 of vouchers per bill, and I've seen many people enjoy a free meal with their vouchers!
I haven't found an end date to this free drink voucher or referral offer, but you'd assume it won't last forever, so it's worth signing up ASAP so you don't miss out!
