Valentine’s Day Dine In Deals 2026, UK Supermarket Guide

Planning Valentine’s Day at home? Here’s a full breakdown of the UK’s best supermarket dine in deals for 2026, plus smart ways to stack loyalty cards and cashback.

Valentine’s Day Dine In Deals at UK Supermarkets to save you money!

Valentine’s Day is creeping up fast, and whether you’re all-in on romance or just fancy a decent meal without the restaurant stress, supermarket dine-at-home deals are once again doing the heavy lifting. Across the UK, retailers are rolling out set menus designed for two, bundling starters, mains, desserts and drinks into one neat price. The idea is simple. Stay in, eat well, and spend less than you would on a single main when eating out!

If you’ve never bought one of these deals before, think of them as a shortcut to a proper evening meal. Everything is pre-selected, timed to cook together, and usually priced well below buying the items individually. Here’s how the main supermarkets are stacking up this Valentine’s season.

Loyalty cards and cashback, how to save even more

Once you’ve picked your Valentine’s meal, it’s worth taking a minute to make sure you’re not leaving extra savings behind.

If the deal requires a loyalty card, like Tesco Clubcard or Co-op Membership, make sure it’s scanned at the till or applied online. Member pricing is often the difference between a good deal and a great one, and you don’t get the discount automatically if you forget.

If you’re paying in store, cashback apps like JamDoughnut can help stretch your budget further. Buying supermarket gift cards through cashback apps before you shop can earn you a percentage back on spending you were already planning, and over time, that cashback really does add up.

For online orders, it’s worth checking cashback sites before you check out. Depending on the retailer, you may be able to earn cashback through platforms like TopCashbackQuidcoRakuten or Complete Savings. If direct cashback isn’t available, gift card cashback can often still be stacked instead.

It only takes a couple of extra clicks, but combining loyalty pricing with cashback is one of the easiest ways to reduce the real cost of Valentine’s dinner without changing what you buy.

Noteworthy 2026 Supermarket Valentine's Day Dine-In Meal Deals

Aldi Valentine’s dine-at-home deal - From £5.97 for two

Aldi keeps things simple and very budget-friendly.

Aldi's Valentine's Day food range focuses on low-cost, mix-and-match options rather than a fixed-price meal deal. Prices start at £ 2.99 per person, making it the cheapest way to put together a Valentine's meal at home this year. The range will be available in stores from 10th February.

Rather than buying into a set bundle, shoppers can build their own meal using Aldi's Specially Selected and Share the Love ranges, choosing starters, mains, sides and desserts individually. Aldi has published several example menus to show how a full Valentine's meal can be created at different price points.

One of the lowest-cost combinations includes:

Heart Shaped Garlic Bread, £1.49

Specially Selected Heart-Shaped Lobster Pasta, £2.49

Mini Pink Heart Pancakes, £1.49

This comes to £5.47 for two people, or £2.74 per person. Adding a bottle of Prosecco Spumante DOC at £4.69 brings the total to £10.16, or £5.08 per person.

For shoppers looking to spend a little more, Aldi also highlights a premium-style option:

Specially Selected Black Cod in a Miso Glaze, £4.99

Veg Medley with Truffle Butter, £1.49

Raspberry Cheesecake Slices, £1.99

This totals £8.47 without wine, or £4.24 per person. With prosecco added, the total rises to £13.16, or £6.58 per person.

A vegetarian option is also shown using:

Heart Shaped Garlic Bread, £1.49

Mushroom & Truffle Tarts, £5.98 for two

Vegan Caramelised Biscuit Heart Sponge, £1.99

This comes to £9.46 without wine, or £5.23 per person, with the option to add prosecco separately.

Beyond these example menus, Aldi's Valentine's range is extensive, covering seafood starters, sharing sides, heart-shaped pizzas, premium meat dishes, vegetarian mains and a wide choice of desserts. Standout items include heart-shaped lobster pasta, duck breast with plum and hoisin sauce, beef en croute, mushroom and truffle tarts, and a range of themed desserts under £2.

Wine is not included in the deal, but Aldi's prosecco will be priced at £4.69 between 9th and 14th February, keeping the overall cost low for those who want to include a drink.

For shoppers who prefer flexibility and the lowest possible spend, Aldi's approach allows you to scale your Valentine's meal up or down depending on budget, without committing to a fixed-price offer

Supermarket Valentine’s meal deals have become one of the easiest ways to enjoy a special evening without the stress or cost of eating out.

Supermarkets now invest heavily in creating higher-quality, restaurant-style meals at accessible prices, because they know people still want to celebrate Valentine’s Day, even when eating out isn’t affordable.

With the cost of living continuing to squeeze disposable income, spending hard-earned money in restaurants simply isn’t realistic for everyone.

As a result, choice has increased significantly, and so has quality. Many of these dine-in meals now offer the kind of experience people would once have reserved for a night out, but at a much lower cost.

For couples, families, or anyone looking to mark the occasion without stretching their budget, supermarket dine-in deals offer a practical, affordable way to enjoy something special at home.
