It's been a while (mainly due to the pandemic), but the good news is that Ben & Jerry's has announced that they will re-launching their famous 'Free Cone Day' on April 3rd!
All over the world, Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops' will be offering a free scoop of their ice cream to anyone that wants one, but only from Midday till 8 pm, so don't be late!
You can grab either a free cone or scoop in a cup and you can rejoin the line afterwards and get another if you want; it's basically unlimited free ice cream; yup, give yourself a pinch; this isn't just a wonderful dream, it's for real!
This isn't a new thing; Ben & Jerry's started giving out free copies to its loyal customers to say thanks for some 40 years, so it's become a tradition in the States, with lots of the ice cream companies' rivals offering a similar event, so those lucky guys and gals across the pond can grab free ice cream even more often than us poor Brits!
I'm still inconsolable that Ben & Jerry's discontinued the New York Super Fudge Chunk flavour in the UK (Chocolate Ice Cream with White & Dark Fudge Chunks, Pecans, Walnuts & Fudge-Covered Almonds), in the UK, which I loved, so I'm boycotting the free cone as a protest.... Nah, who am I kidding, I'm going to go grab mine!
You can find your most local Scoop Shop via Ben & Jerry's website HERE, and most of the locations are in cinemas, so perhaps make a day of it and go see a movie at the same time!
