Eat Out To Help Out - Restaurants Extend into Sept..

The success of the "Eat Out To Help Out' scheme, has spurred restaurant's to extend the offer into September..

The 'Eat Out To Help Out' scheme which offered diners the opportunity to enjoy a state-funded 50% discount on food and soft drinks on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August, up to a maximum of £10 per person, has been deemed a success, with over 64 million discounted meals served!

The official deal has now ended, however many restaurants have decided to keep offering the deal, into September, as a way to keep the restaurants busy, during what are generally quieter trading days, early in the week, and to look to keep up the opportunity to claw back money lost, during lockdown, and help what is often a quieter month, with schools having gone back, and people beginning to look to save money, ready for Christmas, which is just some 3 months away. (Yikes!)
