Clear! A New Player in the UK Receipt Scanning App Genre

2. Email Receipt Forwarding: You can forward your email receipts directly to the app for online purchases. This is useful because you won't usually be able to scan a receipt printed from your computer; this way, you can forward your email receipt directly to Clear.

How can I earn from the Clear! Receipt Scanning App?

Clear! offers users the following rewards for submitting their receipts:

• 10p for grocery receipts and 5p for others

• 60p for surveys

Clear! rewards users with 33% of what they receive from their clients for your data.

Tiered Reward System

Clear implements a tiered reward system that incentivises users to continue scanning their receipts.

• Level 1: Each receipt is worth up to 10p

• Level 2: The user will earn double points

• Level 3: The Infinity level: Receipts can earn up to four times the base amount per receipt, plus you'll also earn a 50p bonus every 7 weeks if you keep providing receipts.

This progressive reward structure encourages users to scan more receipts and climb the levels for increased benefits.

The more regularly you submit receipts, the higher your level will be. The better the data you provide, the more clients will buy, and the more you can earn!

You can scan up to 22 receipts per week, provided the receipts are for physical products purchased. This number of receipts is set to avoid users submitting receipts that aren't their own, as the app only wants to know what you and your family are buying, and Clear! doesn't want receipts from other people or from business purchases.

If, however, you and your family purchase many items every week, you can contact them and ask to review your receipt limit.

As with most of the other receipt scanning apps, receipts must be from purchases made within the last 7 days. You can submit a maximum of 3 receipts from the same store per day.

Additional Earning Opportunities

Beyond receipt scanning, Clear offers users the chance to earn extra money through occasional surveys. This feature is similar to the Amazon Shopper Panel, which provided users the opportunity to earn some extra rewards for answering demographic or product/brand-related questions, and Clear! offers 60p for each survey submitted, which is more than Amazon offered.

On top of this, users can earn extra rewards by referring friends and family to the app, and will earn 75p per referral (once both are level 1. The person you refer will also get a 25p sign-up bonus when they reach level 1). Users can have up to 5 successful referrals per month.

Low Cashout Minimum

Clear! has set a decent minimum cashout threshold of £5, making it accessible for users to withdraw their earnings without having to accumulate a large sum! There's nothing worse than having to scan receipts for months to get a cashout!

Users can claim a gift card from a wide range of retailers once they have £5 of credit in their account.

It's great to see a new receipt-scanning app launched in the UK! Receipt scanning is a low-maintenance and hassle-free way to earn a few extra quid every year, and this new app is going to do well, especially with the big boy Amazon Shopper panel ceasing UK operations!
