Asda's 7 for £10 frozen party food deal, including 84 pigs in blankets and Christmas buffet favourites.

Christmas party food is one of those things that's easy to keep adding to the trolley. A box of sausage rolls, some mozzarella sticks and a few mini pizzas don't seem like much individually, but buying enough for a buffet can soon become expensive. If you've got family or friends coming over, a mix-and-match offer can help you put out a decent selection without spending quite so much.

Asda's seven-for-£10 frozen party food offer is back, with 37 products to choose from. It runs from the 15th of October until the 31st of December 2026, covering Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas. That gives you the option to pick up a few things during your normal food shops, rather than buying everything in December.

What's included in Asda's party food offer?

The selection includes mozzarella sticks, duck spring rolls, mini cheese pizzas, halloumi fries, cocktail sausage rolls and tempura prawns, so there's plenty of choice for a buffet. You can mix different products or buy several packs of a favourite, provided they're included in the offer. Nine new products have joined the range this year:

You can browse Asda's frozen party food range online, or look for the seven-for-£10 labels when shopping in store. We found a good selection in the promotional display freezers at the end of the freezer section, which made it easier to see what was included. The layout may be different in your branch, but those displays are a good place to start looking.

How does the 84 pigs in blankets deal work?

If pigs in blankets are always the first thing to disappear from your Christmas table, this could be a good opportunity to stock up. Choosing seven of the included 12-piece packs gives you 84 pigs in blankets for £10. That works out at just under 12p each, or about £1.43 a pack, whether you're serving them with Christmas dinner or adding them to a party buffet.

Those seven packs would normally cost £24.50 altogether, so the offer saves you £14.50 against their usual individual prices

Those seven packs would normally cost £24.50 altogether, so the offer saves you £14.50 against their usual individual prices. Other combinations will give you different savings because the products aren't all the same price.

If you're deciding between two things you'd be equally happy to serve, choosing the more expensive one gives you a bigger discount, but there's little point picking food nobody wants just to increase the saving.

Is it worth stocking up before Christmas?

Buying some of your festive food during October and November can spread the cost across several shopping trips, which may make December's food bill easier to manage. Frozen party food lends itself to that, provided the storage instructions and dates suit when you're planning to use it. Before buying seven packs, though, have a look at how much room you've actually got in the freezer.

Boxes can take up a surprising amount of space, especially when you're also trying to fit in a turkey, vegetables and your usual frozen food. If a product has a sealed inner bag suitable for freezer storage, removing the outer box may help, but keep the food properly protected. Label it clearly and keep the packaging information, including cooking instructions, dates and allergens, either with the food or in clear photos you can find when you need them.

It's also worth planning how you'll cook everything, particularly if the oven will already be full of Christmas dinner. Check the temperatures and cooking times before deciding which party foods to serve together, then work backwards from when you want them ready.

You could ask AI to help organise a cooking timetable using the instructions from each pack, but check its timings against those instructions before following it.

Buying in store or adding to an online order

If you're already placing an Asda grocery order, adding the party food saves you making a separate trip for it. Delivery and any applicable basket charges are extra, so a £10 order just for the offer could end up costing quite a bit more. Picking up the packs during your usual supermarket visit may work out better if you don't need anything else delivered.

If you're planning a larger festive food order, our Christmas supermarket delivery guide explains when to book. Include the delivery charge in your food budget so you know what the whole shop will cost.

Could cashback save you a little more?

You may be able to save a little more by paying with an Asda gift card bought through a cashback app such as JamDoughnut, which we've reviewed here. Instead of paying Asda with your debit or credit card, you buy an Asda gift card in the app and use that to pay for your shopping. You receive cashback for buying the gift card, so you're earning money back on food you were going to buy anyway.

If you've got more than one cashback app, compare their Asda rates before buying, as the amount you can earn may differ. Check that the gift card can be used online or in store, depending on where you're shopping, and buy an amount you expect to use.

The cashback goes into your balance in the app, and once you've reached its minimum withdrawal amount, you can transfer that money to your bank account.
