Here's a bonus for summer 2026: the Government has temporarily cut VAT on children's meals to 5% from 25th June to 1st September, and many chains are passing the saving straight on. That is why you will spot odd prices like 88p popping up where deals used to cost £1. The discount is applied automatically at the till, so there is nothing extra to do.
Heads-up: most of these deals require an adult main meal to be purchased first, and adult mains can sometimes be eye-wateringly expensive. Always check the adult menu prices before you go, as a cheaper café without a kids' deal can occasionally beat a pricey restaurant with one. A little maths at the door can save you a surprising amount.

BrewDog, Kids Eat Free
➡️ The deal: one free kids' meal for children aged 13 and under with the purchase of an adult main meal, meaning a burger, pizza, salad or regular wings. Book a table and select the Kids Eat Free booking type to opt in.
📅 When: every day including weekends, but dates vary by bar. Most English bars, including Birmingham, Bristol Harbourside, Canary Wharf, both Manchester sites, Newcastle, Paddington, Seven Dials, Tower Hill and Waterloo, run from 20th July to 31st August. The deal: one free King Jr. Meal when an adult buys a qualifying burger meal through the BK app. The adult meal must be a burger sold as a meal, and Cheeseburger, Hamburger, all Melts burgers, King Savers, and Family Bundle Deals do not count as qualifying meals.

➡️ The deal: one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick 'N' Mix per adult item purchased, and the adult purchase can be anything, even a 65p piece of fruit. Scan your Clubcard or the Tesco app to claim, and there is no stated limit on kids' meals per visit, just one per adult item bought.
