Asda - Kids Eat For £1
Children will get a £1 meal from noon every day in 205 Asda cafes, (Not all Asda stores have an Asda-branded cafe, so check before you go!)Kids across England and Wales can eat for just £1 at any time of day in Asda Cafés, seven days a week, with no minimum adult spend required. Baby food is also available as part of the initiative, with little ones enjoying a free pouch of Ella’s Kitchen baby food (70g pouch). You can order one £1 kids meal per child per day.
The kids' menu offers a variety of options, including two new hot meals recently introduced: Penne Pasta with Meatballs and a vegan Hidden Veg pasta meal. The existing hot meals on the menu, such as fish fingers, will remain, but customers will have the option to swap out chips for a salad or peas.
In addition, children will receive a free piece of fruit such as an apple, a pear or a banana when purchasing the hot kids' £1 meal deal.

Cocotte, the rotisserie chicken restaurant with six locations across London, is offering free meals for children until the end of August.

What can I do if I can't afford to eat out?
Not everyone has the budget to eat out, after all, having the kids off school can be expensive, so here are some cheaper options for feeding the nippers at home.
The Co-op Freezer Favourites deal gives Co-op members 5 freezer items for £6, or £6.50 for non-members. This can be a great deal for feeding the kids on a budget.
Use apps such as Too Good To Go to rescue food from supermarkets and restaurants that would otherwise go to waste if not bought at a reduced rate by app users, or grab completely free food from the food waste reduction app Olio.

Use supermarket food coupon/cashback apps to grab discounts on selected supermarket products. The three main apps that offer this are Shopmium, Checkoutsmart, and GreenJinn. You can then withdraw the funds once you've reached the minimum withdrawal amount.
If you need to shop for food for your family, consider your cashback options. Several cashback services are available to you.
